This process allows a site to collect an item assigned to a staff member, in the status of In Use, directly from the staff member's account.
Collect from Staff to a Room
Click
on ,
located on the top navigation bar.
Filter for and/or click on the staff member's row. The row will turn yellow and the staff details will open.
Within the Inventory tab, locate
the item to be collected and click on Quick Collect under
the Actions column.
Note: Fields will auto populate with Tag information.
Select Room in the Collect to: field, use the drop-down arrow to make the selection.
In the Return to Room field, verify the room number to which this tag will be collected.
To
change the room, click the
Lock
to unlock the field.
Click on the Search and Select the
desired room.
Select the Collect to Status: from the dropdown menu.
Type
any notes in the Status Notes: field. Click the Lock icon
to secure.
Verify the tag number in the Tag: field.
Click on
Save.
Note: If there are accessories which are required to be collected for this tag, they will be displayed. Document accessories not being returned by editing the collected accessory count.*
To
collect the tag and respective accessories, click on
Collect.
View a Transaction Receipt for this
transaction, click on View located
under the Actions column (PDF file). Use the PDF reader's
controls to print the receipt out.
To assess a charge to a student's
tag, click on Assess Charge located
under the Actions column.
Click Done to exit the Quick
Collect screen.
Collect from Staff to a Transfer
Click
on ,
located on the top navigation bar.
Filter for and/or click on the staff member's row. The row will turn yellow and the staff details will open.
Within the Inventory tab, locate
the item to be collected and click on Quick Collect under
the Actions column.
Note: Fields will auto populate with Tag information.
Select Transfer in the Collect to: field, use the drop-down arrow to make the selection.
In the Pickup Location field, verify the room number to which this tag will be collected.
To change the location, click the Lock to unlock the field.
Click on the Search and Select the
desired room.
Click the Search icon next to the Add to Transfer: field.
Do one of the following:
If the transfer does not exist, select a destination from the Create a New Transfer field. Click Go.
To use an existing transfer, Select the transfer from the Search for an Existing Transfer grid.
Select the Collect to Status: from the dropdown menu.
Type any notes in the Status Notes: field. Click the Lock icon to secure.
Verify the tag number in the Tag: field.
Click on Save.
Note: If there are accessories which are required to be collected for this tag, they will be displayed. Document accessories not being returned by editing the collected accessory count.*
To collect the tag and respective accessories, click on Collect.
View a Transaction Receipt for this
transaction, click on View located

a charge to a staff tag, click on Assess Charge located under the Actions column.
Click Done to
exit the Quick Collect screen.
To locate where the tag's originating source is after you have collected the item from the staff member, perform a Tag Search for that tag number.
To collect the item to a room of your choice, collect the item from the Quick Collect screen.
