Users are the individuals who are granted access to TIPWeb-IT. A district administrator can add additional district level and site level users. A site administrator can add additional site level users. The username field is limited to 50 characters (including alpha/numeric and @ _ - . ).
A TIPWeb-IT User can be assigned to multiple sites. A district level administrative user is allowed to assign multiple sites to users. Within the Assigned Sites field, the first site listed is the user's primary site. The User will view switch to any additional assigned sites.
Districts utilizing the Warehouse Feature must identify Drivers to perform transfers to and from the warehouse.
Districts with the Departments Feature enabled will be asked to assign each user to a specific department or departments.
A TIPWeb-IT User can be assigned a User Type. Administrators can view and manage user types by selecting User Types under the Management Quick Link.
A User Role can be further defined by adding a User Type through the User Management screen. The single select dropdown menu contains a list of all user types currently in the system. Assigning a User Type will impact the user type’s workflow.
A TIPWeb-IT User permissions can be further defined by applying a Permission Template. Administrators can view and manage Permission Templates by selecting User > Permission Templates under the Management Quick Link.
