Drivers have specific permissions during warehouse transfer processes. They are accountable for confirming and insuring quality control for warehouse transfers.
The district level administrator designates specific TIPWeb-IT user accounts as approved Drivers. Those individuals can then be assigned to deliver a warehouse transfer from their respective site(s) to the desired location (indicated in the transfer).
A driver’s responsibilities:
Physically move items from point A to point B
Verify the physical contents of the transfer
Edit the transfer to match the physical items being shipped
Update the transfer status to “In Transit”
Update the transfer status to “Delivered”
WARNING: Drivers must be assigned access to a site in order for the driver to be eligible to pick up warehouse transfers from the respective site.
Click on Users under Management Quick Links.
Search for the desired user and click on Edit.
Select the Driver field.
Click on Save.
Click on Users under Management Quick Links.
Click on Add Record.
Enter the new user’s details. Red fields are required information.
Choose a User Role respective to their position.
Move respective sites over to the Assigned Sites area for this user.
Select the Driver field.
Click on Save.
A TIPWeb-IT site user can be assigned to multiple sites. Within the Assigned Sites field, the first site listed is the site user’s primary site. The site user will view switch to any additional assigned sites.
