Tag Search or Tag Export will help you verify an item's current status.

  2. Enter/scan the Room Number to which the item will be moved. If you manually enter the number, click on Next to proceed to the next field.

Click on Search to find and select the appropriate Room.
  3. Using the Status field's drop down menu, select the Status of item being moved.

Available - assigns item to the room for the purpose of later issuing it to an individual or another room.
    In Use
    - assigns item to the room and designates as in use in that room and, therefore, is not available to issue to another room, staff, or student.

  4. Scan or enter the Tag Number into the Tag field.  If you manually enter the number, click on Save to add this item to the selected room.

  6. Continue scanning or entering tag numbers until all items have been moved to the selected room.  If desired, you may also unlock and change the Room field and/or change the Status field before entering another tag.  Unless changed, those fields will retain the original settings from step 2 and 3.

  7. Select Done to exit the Room to Room Transfer screen.

Note:

If multiple tags are being moved to the same room, select the Lock icon on the desired field(s). This allows you to scan all of the tag numbers without entering redundant information for each tag.

If the tag(s) added to the room to room transfer are an Asset Type of Component or Parent, an additional warning screen will display to verify the transaction.  Review Components Overview for more details.

If the tag searched for is not found, a message indicting the tag number in question, will be displayed.
