Material Types Tab

Material Types are district wide categories assigned to TIPWeb-IM instructional materials.  Material types are used as filters for multiple on-screen grids and multiple inventory reports.  If you wish to create or edit the list of available material types, review Material Types Tools.

Assign a Material Type

1. Click on Textbooks located on the navigation bar.

2. Search for the desired ISBN.

3. Click on Details, located on the ISBN's row.  This opens the respective Textbook Details page.

4. Click on Material Types tab.

5. Click on Add.

6. Select the desired material type using the Type drop down menu.

7. Click on Save.  This refreshes the Material Types tab grid.
   

Remove a Material Type

1. Click on Textbooks located on the navigation bar.

2. Search for the desired ISBN.

3. Click on Details, located on the ISBN's row.  This opens the respective Textbook Details page.

4. Click on Material Types tab.

5. Locate the desired material type.

6. Click on Delete.

7. The message "Are you sure you want to delete this Material Type from this book?" appears.

8. Click OK.  This refreshes the Material Types tab grid.
