Vendor / Publisher Overview

Vendor/Publisher allows the creation of a district wide list of vendors and/or publishers from whom instructional materials are purchased.  Details can be documented such as the ISBNs linked to the respective vendor/publisher and the vendor/publisher's contact names and information.

Vendor/Publishers Page

• Add - creates a new vendor or publisher to TIPWeb-IM (viewable district wide)

• Name - displays the name of the company which publishes and/or sells instructional materials

• Contact - displays the vendor/publisher's contact person

• Account # - displays your district/campus account number with the respective vendor/publisher

• Phone - displays the vendor/publisher or contact person's phone number

• Email - displays the vendor/publisher or contact person's email address

• Details - opens the vendor/publisher's details page

• Vendor Orders Assigned to - displays a list of campus created vendor orders for the respective vendor/publisher selected

Vendor/Publisher Details Page

• Publisher - displays the name of the company which publishes and/or sells instructional materials

• Address - displays the vendor/publisher or contact person's mailing address

• Phone - displays the vendor/publisher or contact person's phone number

• Acct # - displays your district/campus account number with the respective vendor/publisher

• Contact - displays the vendor/publisher's contact person

• Fax - displays the vendor/publisher or contact person's fax number

• Email - displays the vendor/publisher or contact person's email address

• Notes - optional field for additional vendor/publisher related information

• Edit - allows certain vendor/publisher details to be updated

• Delete  - deletes the vendor/publisher from the district wide TIPWeb-IM vendor/publisher list

• Assigned Textbook Grid - displays the ISBN(s) assigned to the respective vendor/publisher

• • Add - assigns an ISBN to the respective vendor/publisher

  • Delete - removes the assigned ISBN from the respective vendor/publisher

  • ISBN - displays the 10+ digit number of the instructional material assigned to the vendor/publisher

  • Title - displays the assigned name of the instructional material assigned to the vendor/publisher

  • SLC - displays the assigned state list number of the respective ISBN assigned to the vendor/publisher

  • Price - displays the suggested replacement price for a single copy of the respective ISBN assigned to the vendor/publisher
    

NOTE:

The Vendor/Publisher ID Number is an automatically assigned unique identifier by TIPWeb-IM when the vendor/publisher was created.  It is not available to edit.
